My thighs niggle me with heat, my skin sticking to the leather and refusing to let me shift in the reading chair. The summer sun torments the roof, tired tin creaking and cracking the silence.

My body slouches back and I hoist my thigh over the side of the arm rest, letting one leg dangle free as a delicious hint of cool air creeps up my denim skirt.

The stillness.

My Digital Detox – allowing myself time to Relax!

I’ve been on hiatus from the digital world in recent months.

I truly needed the time out. Remember those cartoons where they put toothpicks in their eyeballs to keep them awake.

Yep. That was me not so long ago. Doing too much for a long period of time. It was taking its toll.  I was exhausted with a capital E.
